Resolved Question: In Costa Rice we're looking for cute & reasonable inns near lots of activity and also near the beach?
We are headed to Costa Rica in December for our 2 week Honeymoon. I am thinking we may do a "package tour" for our first week with Sunquest. The remaining week we'd like to travel around a bit doing some adventure activities and then the last few nights relaxing on the beach at an every-inclusive. Anyone have any recommendations for reasonably / cheap priced indiscovered inns / lodges close lots of adventure? Also, lookin for a great every-inclusive on the beach fairly close to San Jose.

me and inuyasha were having adventures fighting bad guys so we were rly good friends but then we went on vacation together. we went on a cruise with my family and some of inuyashas friends. we went to a beach and there was a guy who gave us a tour of the cave and the whole time i was in there i kept thinking of telling inuyasha that i loved him but i wasnt sure if he loved me back. so once we were done with that we went out of the cave and the sun was setting. i ran up to inuyasha and told him i loved him and he said he loved me back then he got on one knee and i covered my mouth with both hands and thought "wow this was soon!" then inuyasha said "i was going to do this anyway :)" then he said how much he loved me and he wanted to spend the relax of his life with me and he asked me if i would marry him. (just to let u know in real life i would be like "uhhh hell no cuz were not even dating! i mean a year or two later sure but its too soon!" but in my dream i was sooo glad) i nodded my head and said YES! then i knelled down with him and hugged him and kissed him. then he gave me a ring and it was no engagement ring i would describe it as a piece of sh*t! it was a hand made blue, green and black ring that u put over ur whole finger and every the old ladies were buying it. i sighed but i remembered that we would pick out the wedding ring together. then it was dark and we every went swimming in the water for some reason. i swam over to my mom to talk when i realized the engagement ring was gone! it fell off my finger in the water! so desperately looked for it and after finding about 20 of the old lady rings we finally found mine. but then i realized...im only 15 y am i getting married? then i thought of kagome and how we were the same age then i woke up. Resolved Question: Tell me what you think about this story!?
Me and my friends are using lulu.com to publish books for fun then are gonna read each other's books. Mine is called Audry tell me what you think~ I sat on the chilly green grass, the wind ruffling my hair as I ran my hand down the chilly granite rock, taking in the carvings of the name I used to know. But was it truly my fault she was gone? Was there really something I could’ve done to cease what was coming? I felt a hand relax upon my shoulder. A tear run down my cheek as I heard a voice from behind me say “There was nothing you could have done, Audrey.” But there was. I could have protected her. Even saved her. But it was too tardy now. And as I dropped the wilted daisy on her grave, the memories came flooding back One year earlier… “We’re here!” my mom shouted as we pulled into the driveway. Jane yawned from the back seat as she woke from her nap. “It’s been two hours already?” she asked sleepily. “You wouldn’t know it,” I replied, turning to face her. “You were asleep the entire time.” She simply shrugged and turned to receive a good look at our new home. It was only one level with eggshell white aluminum siding that was rusting in a few areas and had apparent water damage. The windows were droopy and the roof was missing quite a few shingles. There wasn’t even a garage. The entire home needed work. “We have to live here? Mom, you’ve got to be kidding.” Jane complained. I rolled my eyes. She‘s always the one to complain. But I had to agree with her. This place wasn’t exactly what I had in mind when I pictured where I was going to live for the next few years. “I know it’s tiny,” mom replied, “but it will have to do. We just can’t afford that big home in Harrisburg with your dad gone.” Please don’t remind me. Dad wasn’t glad with his relationship with mom or whatever, so he just packed up and left, leaving my mom, two sisters, and I to fend for ourselves. He hasn‘t called once since he left, and we have no way to contact him. It was as if he suddenly stopped caring. I got up and unbuckled Deedee from her car seat and carried her inside. As we every approached the door, I heard Jane’s distinct groan. As we walked up the steps to the hideous green-blue porch, I could feel my weight putting crippling pressure on each stair. This place is going to fall apart, I thought grimly. Mom took out her keys. The door opened with a noisy creak. The inside of the home was as beat up as the outside. every of the furniture was moved in from our old home in Harrisburg, and it made the walls look horrid in comparison.. Every single room in the home was the same boring shade of beige paint, with a cherry red carpet. Except for the kitchen and bathroom, which both had brown tiles. There were countless dents polka dotting the walls, and the paint peeled in the corners. The carpet and ceiling had big mold blotches. I tried to think of the mold as a sort of design, but somehow I couldn’t find anything pleasant about fungus in your home. Mom was trying to look pleased, but I could look the disapproval in her eyes. Deedee was off exploring the new place as if it were an adventure, while Jane and I kept the same unimpressed expression on our face as we toured the relax of the home. “So,” Jane sighed, “off to the bedrooms now?” Mom nodded and led us down a narrow hallway past the kitchen. There were four doors, three on the left, and one on the right. The first room was mom’s bedroom. It had the least damage to the walls and floor out of the entire home, but it was pitifully tiny for the master bedroom. The second door was a bathroom with cracked tile and a moldy tub, with no showerhead as well. As we approached the bedroom I heard Jane groan once again, and I knew why. This meant there was only one bedroom left, and that would be shared by every three of us. I knew the door on the other side of the hall guide to a storage closet. Mom opened the door, only to reveal a tiny room with one bed, and one crib. Mom smiled, “Here it is girls, your new-” “Wait,” I interrupted. “There are only enough beds for two people.” Mom smiled, “Oh don’t worry. We’re getting to that.” She guide us to the closet across the hall. She nodded towards me, signaling for me to open the door. This is some nice of joke. I’m going to open this door to find mom’s shoe collection, I thought grimly. I looked up at the grin on mom’s face, then opened the door. I was surprised at what I saw. It was a spiral steel staircase. I guessed I’d have to duck in order to make my way up, and I would probably bang my head the first few hundred times. “The attic?” I said in disgust. “My room is in the attic?” “You haven’t even seen it yet. Go on up there.” I climbed the stares to find, to my surprise, what seemed like the perfect room. It was very big with a deep purple carpet and lavender walls, no peeling or mold. The ceiling was low but there was plenty of room for every of my stuff. My bed was against the wall below the window, and i NOTE: This is unedited so it may be sloppy Yahoo answers cuts off the end. Resolved Question: Is it inappropriate for a 19-year-old girl to go on a week-long trip with just her dad?
Next February, during my university's spring break, my dad really wants to take me to Costa Rica (from Canada) to celebrate my 19th birthday. We found a tour group that does adventure tours in Costa Rica, and it sounds like a lot of fun. But my mom said that it's inappropriate for a man to go on a trip with his 19-year-old daughter. If we go on this trip, we would have separate rooms. No, my dad has never done anything bad to me. My mom was the one to bring up the subject of this question, and I hadn't even considered it beforehand. My mom is an elementary school teacher and she can't arrive on the trip because my spring break is during a week that she has to work.

Resolved Question: evaluate my Itinerary for japan?
After consulting many people, I've updated my Itinerary for my trip in Japan next year. My friends and i are going to stay for two weeks, and we will most likely be staying at hostels. I have two friends coming with me, both male, and here is our itinerary: Osaka: Tour the city, Osaka Castle, Suma beach, and of course, Kyoto. (Duration: 10 days) Then the three of us plan on hitch hiking to Tokyo. We chose hitch hiking because it saves money, and is a great way to meet interesting people. Plus it sounds like an adventure. If worst comes to worst, we'll just take the bus there. Tokyo: Tour the city, Akibahara, Chiba, Meet up with friends, etc. (3 days) So my fund is still 3000 USD spending money. What do you guys think of this new plan?

Resolved Question: STA Travel Tour: Africa?
I want to go to Africa next summer for about a month or so. I want it to be fun and cheap. I'm not picky with sleeping accommodations (camping, guest houses, etc no problem). I will be 22 and would prefer a more youthful group to fit my interests (hiking, adventure sports, etc) I want the trip to be active and not feel too much like a tour. The only reason I'm doing a tour, which I usually avoid, is because I am not confident in planning at trip to Africa myself. I was looking up a STA Travel one. Has anyone used them? Been on one of their Africa tours? I need help, recommendations, advice, etc. Thanks!

Voting Question: Where is the best place to vacation in Ireland?
This is going to be my first time leaving the country. I am planning this trip for my best friends and myself for next summer and I'd adore any suggestions. I know we should decide on our possess, but I'd like some suggestions and input. :) I'd adore to do the typical tourist stops, but I just don't feel like visiting the big cities and tourist hot spots strictly. I'd like to venture out to the countryside and just like the scenery and culture. As well, we were thinking of possibly spending a few days in Europe to visit a few different places. We might take a tour, but haven't yet decided. We'd really adore to just look what we want to and adventure on our possess time, instead of on a schedule planned out by someone else. Please no rude remarks. If you have nothing nice to input, please don't type anything at every. Thank you. :)

Resolved Question: I Have Aquaphobia? What should I do about my school trip?
This might sound weird to some people, and I know I receive a little embarrassed that I'm scared of water, but I can't help it! Going into a lake or a swimming pool completely freaks me out and there's no reasoning with me. Unfortunately, my school has organised a school tour to an Adventure Centre...and unfortunately, they want us to go canoeing and kayaking. I seriously cried when I read that bit on their website!! There are some other things to do like rock climbing (not good for me either, I'm also scared of heights) and assault course (wouldn't be ideal, I'm clumsy and can't run for sh*t! Lol). every in every, I think it's going to be a pretty sh*tty day, I'll be worried about the water sports and I'll have no fun at every. The bad part is, my mom has to pay for me to go...I think it'd be a waste of money since I won't like it...I'm pretty sure my teacher will attack me if I tell her I'm not going (she's seriously moody)...but do you think I should go anyway and try to be a good spirit? Or keep myself the embarrassment? Nice comments please...?! I've probably put this in the wrong section, but what heck. Lol. Thanks in advance! =)

Resolved Question: What should I see in New Zealand North Island only?
We are planning a fly steer next Feb for my 60th birthday, want to spend 3 weeks, have already done an escorted tour of N & S but want to tour North in more depth, but not the adventure stuff. Really like scenery, serenity, good food - I wanted to emigrate after our last trip but apparently I'm too old and retired! Any help at every would be appreciated.

Okay, so I select Travel on the computer, pick the location, and it plays the little tour video for the destination. But when every of that is done my sim isn't there... the toolbar at the bottom doesn't have my sim's face, wishes, and I can't expand the bar. Resolved Question: Is this how illegals train to get across our border?
LLOYD: In yesterday's show we talked about a tourist attraction in Mexico that aims to turn immigration into entertainment -- where people pay admission to find out what it might take to cross the border. Today, Soledad O'Brien takes you inside a live-action game, with a loaded message. (start VIDEO CLIP) SOLEDAD O'BRIEN, CNN REPORTER: Gun flame rings out. U.S. border patrol agents discover illegal migrants close the Mexican border. The action is captured on our night scope camera. But it's every fake. In reality, you are hundreds of miles from the border in central Mexico. The real border patrol says they don't flame on illegal migrants. This is a tourist adventure run by the Nanu indigenous people. They say the goal is to keep their people from crossing the border. Their tribe has been decimated, ninety per cent of the Nanu has migrated to the United States. PONCHO, TOUR GUIDE (Translated): This is not training, it's a method of awareness. O'BRIEN: Human rights groups say it's shocking and insulting. But, it's a full home tonight-more than fifty people are in our group...and many are 7-year-olds in Scout troops. We hide in the bushes, cling to rocks to cross the river. We slog through deep mud. We make our way through a tunnel. Our guides urge us to rush. It's after midnight as we approach the fictional border. We've paid 20 bucks a piece for this tourist adventure, and Poncho estimates more than 5000 people, a mix of Mexicans and others, have done it. O'BRIEN: Pilar Saucedo is a Mexican, working in Mexico City for an American pharmaceutical company. PILAR SAUCEDO: It's not making fun or anything like that...It's not a sorta training to really cross the border, its to understand that it's difficult. O'BRIEN: One o'clock in the morning, and we've made it to the fictional border. Poncho says we're in for a surprise. In the distance, we look-hundreds of little fires, a surprising end to our grueling four hours. Soledad O'Brien, CNN. (END VIDEO CLIP) Promo LLOYD: We've got the subject of immigration covered at our web site. From the categories of immigration to statistics about how many immigrants live in the U.S. today. Head to CNN.com/EDUCATION! You'll find what you're looking for in today's CNN Student News "Extra!" Don't receive me wrong, it sounds like fun but don't you think this is a little.........convenient?

Resolved Question: Where to go an a 4 week camper van honeymoon tour of Europe?
On the 14th of August this year i am getting married and we have decided to take a 4 week break to travel round Europe in our recently converted van, with our 2 dogs. We are leaving from Scotland and need to be in Belgium 3.5 weeks later, so the thought is to go down through France, head for northern Italy then up the Alps through Austria, Switzerland, Germany and on to Belgium, but that's as far as the planning has got. Any suggestions for not to miss camp sites, places of interest etc would be great. We like an adventure and will have a canoe with us, but we also like culture, architecture and sustainability. Thanks

Resolved Question: Do yew like my story so far? :D?
I wrote this like ten minutes ago. And it's supposed to be a haunting story. Well read it and tell me if you like it. Font: Cataneo BT, size: 11. The timeline is maybe in the 1600s? Without cars or electronics, and horses. NOT medieval times. Plz, if yew like it add me as a contact, so yew can look the latest updates I have made ^.^ Central was the creepiest town ever, people would say. I painted it as unhappy and lonely. I will give you the grand tour. As you ride along on your horse, you could look a faded graveyard well with age in the distance, on the right of the setting sun. I encouraged Bella, my white horse to continue following mama and papa. She promised this town would change everything around. And that is exactly what happened. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ “every settled in?” mama asked. I breathed a sigh of relief as the last of my boxes for my room was unpacked. “Yes mama. I’m going to try and make new friends. every right?” she smiled. “Wonderful Megan.” Off I went to start my morning adventure, first stopping by the stables to pet Bella and give her a juicy apple. I then ran along the rolling fields and hills feeling the grass tickle my legs below my blue dress. To be this free must be a crime, ain’t it? Flying along the fields, hearing the whispers of field mice and chirping calls of birds from high and from low. Spying on little creatures of the rocks and flowing waters, and to even let your hair flow freely past your shoulders, into the wind. This whole world must be illegal! The setting sun with its beautiful setting colors, the nice people, minus the cruel people, sweet smells of strawberry tarts, and galloping hooves of thunder by glad wild horses. To live even shall be a gift, eh? Now in life, we don’t even to seem to even appreciate the tiny things. The ones that matter most. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ I ran past the old tiny one room home held together only by nails and wood. It used to be a huge Victorian home, yes in the middle of nowhere with fine maids and the best food, but a mysterious flame brought it every down. The teenager girl, Wendy that lived there was unhappy and lonely. Her mama never really married with a true heart, and didn’t believe in adore. Well Wendy was unhappy and lonely because after every those years of living in Central, she found a man. His name was Henry. He gave her a beautiful gold locket. But when mama found out she was outraged, and thus threw the necklace into that quick moving stream outside their home. Wendy was heartbroken and grieved for hours screaming every the time. Some say the old lady cast a spell on that very stream. Because the next day Henry was found dead in the stream. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ unhappy and even more heartbroken, she threw herself off the balcony, almost seven stories, therefore crushing her arm and her leg. Nothing more. She was okay, not really okay, but alive. Some even say she was alive because Henry was still watching over her. She crawled over to the stream, and caught a fish. She managed to pry its slimy mouth open and tear it every the way back. She screamed as she found the necklace inside its throat. She pulled it out and smiled. Her dying wish was to find the necklace. And die besides her adore below the gleaming moonlight.

Resolved Question: I'm want a career filled with adventure and culture.?
Its about time for me to pick a major and I honestly haven't found a career that really appeals to me. I'm confident in my writing, I feel that I'm very artistic/creative, and I know I'm resourceful/smart. I have a real passion for traveling/culture and anything exciting (anything from hiking up mount everest to deep sea diving, I'm up for it) I would adore to have an article in a travel magazine or work on tv shows or documentaries that travel around the world, but that doesn't seem like a very secure line of work. If anyone knows of any career or direction that sounds good, I'd appreciate it. (no military, flight attendants, of tour guides please.)

Resolved Question: What is a good vacation place to go for chrismas in Southwest united states like georgia , florida or Alabamba?
For christmas me and my family of 8 . every over the age of 14 want to go somewhere. We have no idea where to go besides Disney world , wild adventures, rent a cabin in north georgia , little grand canyon , go to universal studios , or go to savannah . We have reasons for not going to each one . Not going to disney world because we can only afford to go to one park and we can't decide on a park. Not wild adventures theme park because it is just a day park and the majority of the rides will be close down due to the icy weather. Not renting a cabin because the mountains are dangerous and we would have to cook our possess food and thats not fun during a vacation. No real excuse for little grand canyon. Not savannah because most of the tours are horse drawn carriages and it will be icy so we dont want to freeze while on the tours. ....... we also thought of a cruise but most cruise lines out of jacksonville(closest place to where we live) are 3 days or more long and we only want 1-2 days. We really want to decide now so we can book it before any spots in that activity receive taken or the prices go up so please help! I meant around southwest georgia , not united states. Sorry for the misunderstanding

Resolved Question: good begining to story?
As you walk up Third road in the dreary town of Marienville in the bleak state of Wisconsin you will find an ordinary home with brown shutters; a red home with a nice door with a worn welcome mat. Everything around the home, a bed of yellow flowers, an old dog home that has never been occupied, and a basketball hoop in the driveway every point to an ordinary family home. This home, however, is no modern family living space; this home belongs to Gregory Marshall. Some look him as the peculiar old man down the road, but I look him as an interesting fellow to associate with. Once when I was younger, my pal Julie and I wanted to go on an adventure. look, we don’t receive adventure very often; we were just two thirteen-year- old girls who wanted something out of the ordinary. We went around town looking for something to do when we found our friends, Ted and Marley. Ted explained to us that they were going to break in to Mr. Marshall’s home and look what he was doing inside that home of his. It had been said before the home was haunted, and other myths said the man grew and sold drugs, but I never knew any better but to follow the boys every the way up to the back door of the red home. Julie and I watched for neighbors as the boys gently tried to unlock the big glass doors that went into a room that looked like a kitchen from where we were. I saw someone coming, and we every hid for cover underneath the wild bushes that grew behind Mr. Marshall’s home. We jumped out and I could tell the boys had had enough. Ted grabbed a crowbar he had found in a shed and smashed through the window. We every rushed inside to check out the place. We entered the home to odor an unusual scent, the aroma of fresh ham that must have been baked moments before we got there and a simple odor of orange cleaner would have used to clean the wooden table and the chairs. Ted and Marley, of course, were not impressed at just looking in that room; they wanted to explore. We toured his living room, his bedroom and his dinning room, but really found nothing that would point to the conspiracies Mr. Marshall was involved in. On our way out, I noticed a doorway I hadn’t seen before. A big door with a “Do Not Enter” sign on it, painted a dismal shade of gray so that it wouldn’t be noticed. I tried to open the door but I noticed the knob difficult to turn. Marley came over to help too, but it wasn’t until Ted tried to open the door did it finally budge. We pushed through the door and turned on the lights covered in cobwebs. As the light flickered over our heads, we saw something that hadn’t been previously predicted. Newspaper clippings from a hundred years ago depicting a much younger looking Mr. Marshall, and adds that every had headlines that clearly read “Dhynaghuy Saves Day,” “Dhynaghuy Defeats bad,” “Dhynaghuy,” we every said together with a sigh. “Let’s receive out of here,” Ted said. “I don’t think we want to be his next victim.” “WAIT!” Julie shouted, “I don’t think he was bad though, I think he was… was, I don’t know, Magic?.... no, no, I think he was a SUPERHERO!” We were every unusually silent as we recollected previous thoughts about Mr. Marshall. What had we thought he was? Why were we so stupid to break his door? What will he do to us? As we were turning to leave, we heard the front door squeak open. It was Mr. Marshall, the man who was formerly known as Dhynaghuy, and we had just broken into his home. “Close the door! “rush!” “I wonder if there is another way out of here?” We were every in shock, we never expected Mr. Marshall to be home so soon. We hushed to a whisper to discuss our options. “We could sneak out tonight when he goes to snooze,” Ted suggested. “I don’t think I can stay out that long,” I said in a worried, shaky whisper. Just then, every at the same time we got the best idea; open the door and run for it! We counted down “3….2…..” BAM! That’s every we heard, and we looked up to look Mr. Marshall staring down at four shaking teenagers, us, sitting in his closet of memories. “If you wouldn’t mind, I would ask you to please leave my home.” He had a solemn expression, but he didn’t seem mad at us. Julie started crying as we walked home that night. “I thought he was going to kill us!” she whimpered. “But he didn’t even look mad,” I told her. Ted and Marley walked together, not saying a word, but I could tell by their faces they were scared. ~

Resolved Question: Is Philadelphia / Race St safe to walk around?
We are heading over to Philly Fri-Sun this weekend. We have reservations at the Sheridan on Race St (which is close Chinatown apparently). The kids would adore one of those ghost tours and it will be tardy walking every the back to the hotel (I was told it was every in walking distance). We don't have a lot of money, what things should we do or avoid? Looking to look the Zoo, Natural History Museum, Independence Hall, Liberty Bell. Don't know if I can afford the Constitution middle and the Adventure Aquarium (I think I read there was a big $$ toll on the bridge too...). Anyway - what about places to eat? I need cheap and kid (=picky) friendly... Any advice would be great! We are SOOOO excited! (But not for the 10 hr steer! lol) Yes, it is the Sheraton (sorry). The kids are 15, 11 and 3. We mainly are walking because I heard parking is expensive. I look that there is a subway - heck, that would even be neat... lol. There is a trolly from the Independence area to the zoo, we planned on taking that.
